Introductory study of the main currents that make up the field of Strategic Studies, International Security and defense in International Relations. Understanding the social, technical and political dimensions involved in the use of force in international relations. Analysis of historical power distribution patterns and description of regional security contexts. Analysis of the defense policy of the Great Powers, Brazil and South American countries.
