RESEARCH AT PUCRS

Selection of technical-administrative and teaching staff for an international mission at the University of Messina – Italy

The notice aims to select technical-administrative and teaching staff to participate in an international mission in University of Messina, Italy, with the aim of strengthening academic and institutional partnerships. The mission will take place between June 09 and 13, 2025.

Registrations must be made by May 12 until 18:19 p.m. on May 2025, XNUMX, exclusively via email to: diretoriapg@pucrs.br.

SELECTION CRITERIA

For both modalities, technical-administrative and teaching/research, institutional interest will be considered in the selection of candidates, as well as release by the manager of the administrative unit to which the candidate is linked.

For candidates from the technical-administrative staff:

  • Proven experience in internationalization processes at postgraduate level stricto sensu;
  • Previous participation in international institutional actions or missions;
  • Capacity for institutional articulation within the scope of the PUCRS-PrInt project.

For teachers/researchers:

  • Updated Lattes CV;
  • Lines of research in the areas of Law, History and/or Sociology and Political Science;
  • History of partnerships with Italian universities;
  • Academic products derived from these partnerships (articles, books, projects, etc.);
  • Acting or representing Italian cultural or governmental bodies in Brazil or Italy.

The Pro-Rectory of Research and Postgraduate Studies (Propesq), together with the Pro-Rectory of Undergraduate Studies and Continuing Education (Prograd) informs interested parties that, in period from September 09 to October 25, 2024, registration is now open for the Program to Support Hourly Professors in Research Activities at PUCRS.

The Notice covers research projects in any area of ​​knowledge.

Schedule

  • Submission of new project or renewal request: From September 09th to October 25th, 2024, until 23:59 pm.
  • Disclosure of Preliminary Results: November 22, 2024.
  • Period for requesting reconsideration of result: Until November 29, 2024, at 17 pm.
  • Final result: November 06, 2024.
  • Project Execution Term: January 01st to December 31st, 2025.
  • Submission of the Confidentiality Agreement and Assignment of Intellectual Property Rights: Until January 10, 2025.
  • Deadline for Project Registration in Sipesq with forwarding for analysis by the Scientific Committee: Until January 17, 2025.
  • Deadline for submission of the Partial Report: Until July 31, 2025.
  • Seminar to present the results obtained: December 2025, on a date to be defined, respecting the institutional schedule.
  • Deadline for submission of the Final Report and completion of the Project in Sipesq: Until January 31, 2026.

Productivity in Technological Development and Innovative Extension (DT)

Distinguish the researcher, valuing their production in technological development and innovation according to normative criteria, established by CNPq, and specifically, by the Evaluation Committee.

The PUCRS Projects Agency is linked to the Office of the Vice-Rector for Research and Graduate Studies and is responsible for negotiating and managing the University's institutional projects, whether they are research, innovation, development, services or infrastructure, whenever external financial resources are raised.

We are the Technological Innovation Center (NIT*) of PUCRS, whose competencies include project negotiation and management, intellectual protection and knowledge transfer to the productive sector (TechTransfer), strengthening and expanding PUCRS' insertion in society.

Management and negotiation

  • Promote interaction between PUCRS and companies through R&D&I projects and Specialized Services;
  • Promote the University’s technological skills, products and services among companies;
  • Manage cooperative projects between PUCRS, companies and/or development agencies;
  • Act in the process of negotiating scientific and technological research contracts;
  • Formalize agreements and contracts for projects between the University, companies and/or funding agencies;
  • Formalize agreements and contracts for projects between the University, companies and/or funding agencies;
  • Report on the project at its closure.

TechTransfer

  • Support for research, development and innovation (RD&I), carried out in partnership with companies: through the Projects Agency, contribute to the negotiations of projects, IP assets and knowledge transfer.
  • Protection of intellectual property: assess intellectual creations and inventions regarding the feasibility of protection and forward the appropriate protection to the competent bodies in the country and abroad.
  • Technology and knowledge transfer process: publicize, prospect, negotiate and commercialize the portfolio of technologies and knowledge available at the University to companies, in accordance with institutional policies.
