Sports Park has exclusive technology in RS to assess physical fitness 

O Sports Park from PUCRS now has an exclusive new feature in Rio Grande do Sul: the tool Technogym Checkup, which performs cognitive and physical assessments through advanced technology and artificial intelligence (AI). Recently launched, the service provides a personalized training program and an innovative metric that compares functional physical condition to each person's actual age. The system is suitable for all audiences and can be purchased at the reception of the Sports Park.  

Being the first and only one in the State, the tool combines cutting-edge technology to carry out an assessment based on six pillars: cardio, the body, balance, force, mind e mobility, with the aim of diagnosing physical and cognitive conditioning. The tests take into account aspects such as attention, cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength, memory and brain processing speed.  

“This approach makes Technogym Checkup a unique and innovative piece of equipment, as all these analyses are carried out in an integrated manner, in a single system”, says the coordinator of the Academy and Aquatic Activities of the Sports Park, Ignaldo Paz da Rosa. 

How does Technogym Checkup work? 

• Initial assessment: The process begins with an interview to understand each person’s goals, health history, and possible limitations. 

• Physical performance test: are strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance and other tests are used to assess the level of physical fitness. 

• Biometric analysis: includes measurements, heart rate, as well as body composition tests, such as fat percentage, muscle mass, body water and other essential indicators. 

The result of the evaluation is a metric called Wellness Age™, which establishes the biological age, compared to the real age of each person. This data indicates individual progress, in addition to the general state of health and well-being.  

Based on the information, the Technogym Coach, operated through AI, selects an effective program adapted to the specific needs of each person, transforming training into a unique experience. Detailed reports on progress throughout training are generated in an intuitive format. As the individual progresses, the system makes adjustments, encouraging continuous improvements.
