PUCRS Culture Workshop promotes Guitar Workshop for Beginners de 2 a May 30 of 2025, on Wednesdays and Fridays, from 12:13 to XNUMX:XNUMX. Taught by Professor Thomas Cassol, the workshop is divided into 9 meetings that happen in the space of PUCRS Culture Workshop, located on the ground floor of building 30, at the PUCRS Polytechnic School. To participate you must be at least 16 years old..
The sessions explore rhythmic understanding and the development of basic guitar skills. The workshop program includes the study of guitar anatomy, conventional nomenclature, musical notes, melodies, chords, among other topics. It is not necessary to bring a guitar, the instrument will be made available on site.
Thomas Cassol is a multi-instrumentalist and music teacher. He plays more than 12 instruments and began his journey on the guitar at the age of 8. He has participated in several groups and bands, works as a music producer and is studying a bachelor's degree in music at UFRGS.
