Health and Wellbeing Program (TO KNOW),  School of Health and Life Sciences, guides children, teenagers, adults and seniors in the search for a healthier and more active life!

Launched in 2018, the SABER Program offers participants the opportunity to exercise correctly, developing unconventional motor activities that develop body control.

Activities include sports, exercises that seek motor coordination, flexibility, speed, resistance, strength and increase the participant's autonomy and confidence through interaction with the group.

Learn more about the program:

In 2022, physical and sports activities focusing on the motor development and multiple skills of participants are aimed at children (6 to 11 years old), adolescents and young adults (12 to 25 years old) and adults (26 to 60 years old) and the elderly (from 61 years old);

The activities take place at the PUCRS Sports Park (Av. Ipiranga, 6690 – Building 81).

Participants from other editions can register again;

Participants must wear clothing suitable for physical activities during the program, such as sneakers, sweatpants, leggings, sweatshirts, sports shorts and similar;

Registration of minors must be done by the guardian.

The program is free. The activities take place at PUCRS Sports Park (Building 81). The program is open to the PUCRS internal community (students, professors and administrative staff) and also to the external community, meaning anyone can participate, just sign up. Registration can be done using the class links below.

Physical and sports activities program for children, teenagers, adults and the elderly.

Motor activities focused on different sports for motor development.

There will not be a specific sport being worked on, but rather varied activities that develop the participants' motor skills.

Children: 3 classes of 40 places each.
Teenagers and Young Adults: 2 classes with 35 places – morning / 40 places – evening
Adults: 2 classes with 40 places each.
Seniors: 6 classes with 35 places each.

They will be held at the PUCRS Sports Park building. The exact location can be found at the secretary's office on the 6th floor on the first day of class.

No. For the work to be well developed, the participant must come both days a week.

From 6 to 11 years old – Children
From 12 to 25 years old – Teenagers and Young Adults
From 26 to 60 years old – Adults
61 years or older – Seniors

Physical Education course teachers with interns.

The Program restarts every semester, but the participant must register again to continue attending.
