FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Who is re-entry for?

    Students with suspended enrollment or in a non-enrolled situation, or with expired ties, have the possibility of requesting re-entry to PUCRS for the course they were taking or for another course.

    The request can be made online by filling out a form in the system, or in person, by submitting the application, also online, to the Academic Registration Coordinator, located at the PUCRS Student Service Center, on the ground floor of Living 360°.

    Requests and documents sent by physical mail to PUCRS will not be accepted.

  • Do I need to take the entrance exam?

    There is no need to take an entrance exam, as long as there are vacancies available for the requested course.

  • Can I request re-entry after classes have started?

    It is permitted to submit the request on a date close to or after the start of classes in the first semester, considering that, if the request is granted, some subjects may not have remaining vacancies or there may be a loss of academic content due to the advancement of the semester.

  • Can I request re-admission to other courses?

    It is possible to request re-entry to a different course and/or shift, through a re-entry request with re-option.

  • What is the response time for the request?

    The deadline for responding to the request is approximately 7 (seven) business days. The response to the approved request will be given by email, via a message to the address that the applicant registered on the application form, indicating the necessary steps for enrollment.

  • When should I register?

    The enrollment day for students requesting re-entry is always the last day of the enrollment schedule provided for in the academic calendar, according to the schedule organization made by the secretary of your School.

  • Which channel is recommended to resolve my doubts?
