O Lexis – PUCRS Language Center is responsible for linguistic and cultural training in foreign languages for the community of students, technicians and professors at the University, as well as the external public.
The center has the expertise of teachers of the Literature course, from the School of Humanities, and permanently offers, modules of regular courses in German, Spanish, French, Greek, English, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Mandarin and sign language.

To register for a Certification Course, Language Course or Institutional Event, you need:
To create your PUCRS Account It's very simple, just click on Create Account and enter your Name and email (use your current email).
You will receive a message at the email address provided with all the instructions for completing the PUCRS Account creation procedure.
You can pay for the course in full or in installments, either by bank slip or credit card from Visa or Mastercard.
The amount and number of installments will depend on how early you register.
PUCRS offers differentiated prices for all Language courses with advance registration, in addition to a policy for granting specific prices to certain audiences.
Check on your course page whether you fall into any audience category with a different value at the time of your registration.
Certificates will be made available 30 business days after the end of the course and can be issued and validated online using the username and password used when registering. There is no cost and the student can access them whenever they want, and they can be issued whenever they need.
If the course is cancelled by the University, students will be notified by email with instructions on how to refund the amounts invested.
The cancellation of registrations and of the university certification courses themselves, or even their extension, will comply with the following provisions:
1. CANCELLATION OF ENROLLMENT BY THE STUDENT, BEFORE THE START OF THE COURSE:
Students may request cancellation of their enrollment up to 1 (one) business day before the start of the course by sending a personal email to educacao.continuada@pucrs.br. The amounts will be refunded by the University within 10 business days.
2. CANCELLATION OF ENROLLMENT BY THE STUDENT AFTER THE COURSE HAS STARTED:
After the course has started, cancellation requests will not be accepted.
3. CANCELLATION OF THE COURSE OR EXTENSION OF THE COURSE BY THE UNIVERSITY:
PUCRS reserves the right to cancel or extend the course offering, which may be done up to 3 (three) days before the scheduled start date. In the event of cancellation or extension of the course, students will be informed via the email address registered at the time of registration.
In case of extension, the student will be automatically transferred to the new course date. If this extension is not convenient for you, you may request cancellation of your enrollment by sending a personal email to educacao.continuada@pucrs.br, providing your personal and bank details. The amounts will be refunded by the University by means of a bank deposit to be made within 10 (ten) business days.

4. RETURN
To meet the deadline, correct personal and banking information is required. The University is not responsible for any discrepancies in the information provided.
