In order to facilitate the admission of students who have difficulty paying the full cost of tuition and, therefore, contribute to expanding access to Higher Education, we offer our own exclusive educational credit options and agreements with third parties, in addition to federal government programs. Benefits are offered for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. Check out each option in detail.

Banrisul University Credit

The agreement signed with Banrisul allows students to finance their enrollment and monthly fees. This option is valid for students in all undergraduate courses (where the rate is set at 1,79% per month).

In order for students to benefit from this type of educational credit, they must take all the subjects offered in the curriculum, according to the recommended grade. Further information, qualifications and contracting can be obtained at any Banrisul branch.

Own educational credits

In the options offered by PUCRS, Proed and Fundacred (Postgraduate), the student can obtain 50% credit on the course fees. The amount used is adjusted annually by the variation in the fees and can be paid in double the period of use.

Sign your 100% digital Educational Credit contract

We inform you that the process for issuing the educational credit contract has been updated. From now on, when you click on the link below, you will be redirected to a new platform, where the contract will be available for download and digital signature. The signature must be made through the platform gov.br.

This change aims to modernize the process, making it more practical, safe and sustainable. With this change, it is no longer necessary to notarize the signature, thus eliminating notary fees. The digital signature made by Gov.br has the same legal validity as a signature with a notarized signature.

How to proceed:

  1. Click the link below to access the New Educational Credits Portal with your login (registration number without the digit) and password (the same one used on PUCRS computers);
  2. Download the contract;
  3. All parties involved (student, legal guardian, guarantor(s), spouse/partner) must sign the document using the same method (Gov.br);
  4. After all signatures, the PDF file must be sent via New Educational Credit Portal;
  5. The uploaded file must be exactly the same which was signed on the Gov.br platform —the file name should not be changed — so that the document can be validated correctly.

O PUCRS Educational Credit Program – Proed is intended for the University student who, within the financial availability established every six months and having met all the conditions to enjoy the benefit, is classified according to the conditions established in Proed resolution and regulation. Not applicable to the Medicine course. Limited places.

Financial and Registration Update of the Guarantor

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Who can participate?

    Undergraduate students can participate.

  • Availability

    The number of vacancies for new semi-annual hires is limited.

  • Financing Percentage

    The student contracts the entire course and pays for it twice the term of use, paying 50% of the course during the course and the remaining 50% after its completion.

  • Guarantor

    Income equal to or greater than twice the monthly payment in force at the time of hiring, and may be the father or mother.

  • Usage time

    Regular course duration, according to the curriculum, which may be extended for 2 more semesters.

  • Refund method

    After completion of the course, within the same period of use. Example: If the student used financing for 05 semesters, he/she will pay this credit in 05 semesters after completion of the course.

  • grace period

    It does not have one, the refund is constant until the total settlement of the Credit granted.

  • Contract renovation

    Every six months, the student must renew the financing, however, he/she must obtain approval in at least 75% of the enrolled subjects.

The educational credit allows financing of up to 50% of the course installments, with a repayment period equivalent to the number of installments used.

The Educational Credit Foundation – FUNDACRED provides credit to students enrolled in Lato Sensu (Specialization and MBA) or Stricto Sensu (Master's and Doctorate) postgraduate courses at PUCRS. Credit is granted upon execution of a contract between FUNDACRED and the student.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How works

    Students may finance up to 50% of the course installments, with a repayment period equivalent to the number of installments used. The contracted amount is updated by the indexes accumulated in the INPC (National Consumer Price Index) and includes an administrative fee of 0,5% per month.

  • Hiring

    When registering to take out Educational Credit, the student must indicate the Specialization or MBA course in which he/she is enrolled.

    However, financing can only be completed if the student is regularly enrolled in the course.

    Registration for Educational Credit is simple and can be done on the FUNDACRED website. After that, it is necessary to indicate a guarantor and send the necessary documentation. FUNDACRED will analyze the credit requests and receive the documentation from those approved.

    Complete the personal registration form with FUNDACRED, indicating a PUCRS Specialization or MBA course in which you are enrolled.

    Gather the necessary documents and indicate a guarantor. Enroll at the course secretariat at PUCRS.

    After credit approval by FUNDACRED, print the contract available at Beneficiary Page.

    Collect signatures and deliver documentation to FUNDACRED.

The PUCRS Educational Credit program – Marist Educational Credit It is intended for freshman students entering the University who have completed their entire secondary education at schools in the Marist Network and who, within the financial resources established each semester, have met all the conditions to enjoy the benefit.

Financial and Registration Update of the Guarantor

  • Who can participate?

    Students who completed their entire secondary education at Marist Network schools.

    The Marist Educational Credit must be renewed every six months, through a debt confession contract (CCD), with notarized signature of the student and his/her guarantor/spouse. The student must obtain approval in at least 75% of the enrolled subjects for the semester.

News

In addition to credits and scholarships, there is also the possibility of a series of discounts for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, check out some of them:

State civil servants who wish to further qualify their training will have access to discounts on different types of PUCRS courses. The proposed Cooperation Agreement aims to grant discounts on activities aimed at the qualification and development of civil servants and their dependents.

Discounts are extended to dependents of employees in most courses offered. The following will be considered dependents: spouse, partner, ascendants and descendants up to the second degree.

In order to identify themselves, the employee must present proof of payment for a maximum period of 30 days prior to enrolling in the course, in addition to their functional identification card (badge). In the absence of a functional badge, the employee must present proof of payment accompanied by an official document with a photo.

Students may request a 12% (twelve percent) discount on their tuition fees – except for the first installment – ​​when their sibling, father, mother, child or spouse are enrolled in undergraduate courses at the University. The discount will only be granted if none of the students in the applicant’s family group is receiving any other type of benefit. The discount referred to herein is not retroactive and is valid from the installment following the month in which the application was filed with the PUCRS Academic-Financial Department.

The Graduate Scholarship program consists of a partial scholarship for those who already have a higher education degree from PUCRS. Alumni PUCRS Undergraduate students receive a 25% discount on tuition fees. PUCRS Postgraduate Alumni receive a 12% discount on tuition fees. The discounts are not valid for the Medicine course. Admission is extra-vestibular. For more information, see Resolution 025/2024.
