  • Overview

    The PUCRS Corporate Governance and Sustainability course prepares you to act strategically in one of the most relevant topics in the current market: corporate sustainability. With a theoretical and practical approach, the course offers immersion in companies, interaction with renowned experts and dynamic learning about ESG governance, circular economy and climate change. You will develop innovative solutions for sustainable management, using analysis techniques, metrics and reports, in addition to understanding in depth the impact of the carbon market, renewable energy and green technologies on the global economy.

    Graduate professionals from all areas of knowledge who wish to access knowledge and work in the field of environmental, social and sustainable governance.

In the absence of a diploma, present an original statement of completion of the undergraduate course with the date of graduation. In this case, the STUDENT will receive a Commitment Term in which he/she is responsible for sending the mandatory documentation within the aforementioned deadlines.
For the purposes of enrollment and preparation of the course completion certificate, the student must present, at the time of enrollment UM of the following documents:
Identification document: Simple copy of one of the identification documents listed below:
Civil ID;
Work Portfolio (must include ID, issuing body/state, parentage and place of birth);
Board Portfolio (the document must include the ID and issuing body/state, parentage and place of birth);
CNH (it will be accepted as an identification document if presented together with a complementary document that informs the place of birth – except for the new model);
Birth certificate (it will be accepted as an identification document if presented together with a complementary document that informs the ID and issuing body/state);
Wedding certificate (if there is a name change not recorded on the ID and together with a complementary document informing the ID and issuing body/state).
The documents required for registration must be scanned in JPG, JPEG or PDF format and presented in perfect condition, in order to allow for assessments and compliance with the necessary requirements.

Foreigners:
For admission of candidates holding a degree issued by higher education institutions abroad, the following procedures are required, respectively, before enrolling, so that the documentation is approved by this educational institution:

  • Forward to address educon.matriculasls@pucrs.br, copy of the graduation diploma issued by the educational institution;
  • Forward, to the institution where you completed your undergraduate course, a request for a declaration of authenticity of information contained in the academic documentation presented, with the level of the degree awarded and containing the following data:

Academic documentation must be submitted within a maximum period of 90 days and in the official language of Brazil (Portuguese) or English or Spanish (if necessary, arrange for translation by a qualified professional).
We would like to point out that the response time (verification and approval of documentation for effective enrollment) will depend exclusively on the response from the foreign institution confirming the requested information.
We also inform that any cost informed by the foreign institution regarding the issuance of the declaration of authenticity or other established requirements will be the responsibility of the person interested in joining PUCRS.

  • What are the dynamics of classes in each subject?

    Workload and Methodology

    Each discipline is composed of 8 meetings distributed throughout 60 hours total, divided as follows:

    Theoretical Classes – 32 hours

    • Live synchronous meetings (Zoom): 3h/week, for 8 weeks
    • Directed studies (Moodle): Asynchronous activities focused on deepening content.

    Practical Classes – 28 hours

    • Learning Laboratory: In-person immersive activity at the end of each module, held over two days (Friday and Saturday)
    • Learning Experience: In-person or virtual participation in events such as seminars, lectures, visits to hubs and companies
    • Applied Project: Development and execution of a real project in partner companies
    • Specialized Mentoring: Individual sessions with experienced mentors, for personalized monitoring and guidance.

  • Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility – 60h

    • Corporate social responsibility;
    • Diversity, equity and inclusion in organizations;
    • Human rights in the value chain; Health, safety and well-being at work;
    • Community engagement and local development and Strategic philanthropy and private social investment.

     

  • Sustainable Corporate Governance and Compliance – 60h

    • Corporate governance structures and best practices;

Guidance for the Final Course Work (TCC)

The amounts above refer to course registration, the remaining installments are due from the start of the course.

Registration

The registration fee must be paid on the date of registration. The differentiated amount for the other installments is granted starting from the first monthly payment of the course. The monthly payments will begin after the beginning of the course, with due date on the 15th of each month, via bank slip.

Financial guidelines

In the case of cash payment, the student will be granted a 10% discount on the value of all installments.

Requests for a discount for advance payment of the course must be made via email to financeiro@pucrs.br.

After the request, you will be informed of the amount to be paid, bank details for credit, as well as the deadline for advance payment with the respective discount.

If the course is cancelled, the calculation of refund amounts for overdue installments will disregard the discount granted since the registration was paid.

Financial Aid

Educational credit allows financing of 50% of the course installments, with a repayment period equivalent to the number of installments used.
