KNOW THE COURSE

Transforming people's lives through health and education is the mission of the physical educator. The Physical Education course – Bachelor's degree at PUCRS qualifies professionals to plan, supervise and interact in multidisciplinary teams in public and private early childhood, elementary and high schools, contributing to the development of children and young people as citizens.

Our course has a curriculum comprised of the most contemporary and up-to-date content in the field, much of it previously unpublished in higher education in Physical Education in Brazil, covering topics such as personal development, innovation in health, neuroscience, and learning. In addition to technical training and multidisciplinary projects, you will develop other skills and competencies that are essential to stand out in the market, such as proactivity, creativity, innovative thinking, welcoming and listening skills, professional ethics, and self-knowledge. From the first semesters, you will have contact with the classroom and with pedagogical methodologies that will make a difference in your training as a teacher.
