English is officially part of our lives: it's in songs, TV series, games, job interviews, slang, on the packaging of products we consume, and everywhere else we can imagine. That's why the English Language Arts – Bachelor's Degree course at PUCRS prepares you to go far beyond the walls of the university. With this degree, you can work in companies linked to the communications area and in publishing houses, work in startups, become an entrepreneur, focus on a career as a writer, and, with the degree, practice the most important profession of all: that of a teacher in elementary and secondary schools, in language schools, and in similar educational institutions.
The biggest difference in our course is that you will get hands-on experience from the first semesters to understand that, much more than learning, our mission is to teach in order to transform lives through education. During the course, you can also apply for academic mobility scholarships to study abroad and further improve your knowledge. With the English Language and Literature degree from PUCRS – Bachelor's degree, you will stand out in the market.
