The profession of journalist plays a fundamental role in the development of society, as it is responsible for seeking, investigating and transmitting news and stories through the media. In this way, the population receives reliable and ethical information about important facts that help guide the progress of society. The Journalism course is one of the most highly regarded in the country and is known for training professionals who are references in the field. Upon completing the degree, you will be qualified to work with the most diverse content formats on multiple media platforms, working in journalistic communication companies, in communication teams of public, private and third sector organizations, in integrated communication agencies, in press offices and in entrepreneurship.

Our curriculum supports a multidisciplinary education in Journalism, with a lot of exchange between the courses at the School of Communication, Arts and Design, and is based on the most contemporary teaching concepts.
