KNOW THE COURSE

Is your career path in gastronomy? Then learn the main techniques and trends of today's gastronomy at a world-class university, which has laboratories equipped with the best tools so you can experience the day-to-day of the profession in practice.

During the course, you will learn about relevant topics such as gastronomic tourism and sustainable and inclusive cuisine (for people with dietary restrictions). You will also learn how to deal with new technologies that are transforming the gastronomic sector, from food production to consumer experience.

In the first semesters, you will be exposed to the job market through internships and technical visits to strategic partners, and you can take advantage of our partnership with over 200 institutions abroad to take extension courses or internships that will open doors for your career. You will also have the chance to learn from professors who bring international experiences to the classroom, including chefs who have lived in different countries and worked in Michelin-starred restaurants.

With an entrepreneurial background, the Gastronomy course prepares you to:

  • Manage and coordinate people in gastronomic environments.
  • Analyze costs and process logistics necessary to ensure business success.

Furthermore, the course connects with other areas of knowledge, such as Nutrition, Biology and Administration, promoting a complete education that further expands your professional possibilities.

Students can attend learning spaces that promote the development of practical activities that complement the theory developed in the classroom, thus preparing them to face the market.

MULTIDISCIPLINARY LEARNING 

To meet market demands, the Gastronomy course combines the study of culinary techniques with subjects in business administration, entrepreneurship and sustainability, providing a broad education that goes beyond the execution of dishes. You will develop essential skills, such as technical knowledge in cooking, food management and a solid understanding of market trends, in addition to having real experiences through practical subjects from the first semester.
