Dentistry is the area of health responsible for caring for one of the most beautiful expressions: the smile. Graduates of the PUCRS Dentistry program are qualified to plan, propose, execute and evaluate oral health projects and treatments, with sensitivity and competence to interact with their patients, while maintaining an ethical, supportive and entrepreneurial attitude. You will be able to work in the coordination and execution of educational, preventive and rehabilitative actions in oral health, in the management of dental services, in the coordination of projects and management of health systems and in dental offices and clinics, both in the public service and in private institutions.

Our curriculum supports multidisciplinary training in Dentistry and is based on contemporary teaching concepts. In addition to courses on innovation and integrated work, during the course you will participate in several practical activities in partnership with other areas of the School of Health and Life Sciences and will also have classes with professors who have different market experiences. An example of multidisciplinarity is the Internship in Dental Public Health, which encourages students to interact with other health agents in the Basic Health Units where the internships are carried out.
