Organizing ideas on paper in a cohesive way that engages the reader requires a lot of technique and study. After all, writing is a constant exercise in the search for the best combination of words. If you enjoy expressing yourself through writing and have a passion for telling stories, this is the place for you. The PUCRS Creative Writing course is the first undergraduate technology course in writing in Brazil and welcomes students from all over the country. And it is no wonder that it is such a success: the curriculum was developed by professionals who are references in Brazilian literature and designed so that you absorb as many techniques as possible that will transform your love for letters into incredible texts full of meaning.
Graduates in Creative Writing from PUCRS will be able to work as writers, editors, proofreaders, agents, copywriters or scriptwriters in different genres and languages, in conventional or digital media (books, periodicals, illustrations, the internet, social media, podcasts, text and image editors). The job market is increasingly growing for content creators who are adaptable, creative, flexible, innovative, with versatile profiles and the ability to perform activities that involve creative text in its different forms.
