Control and Automation Engineering is the engineering field that combines mechanics, electrical systems, and computing to design, develop, and manage equipment and machines used in a wide range of industries. The Control and Automation Engineering course at PUCRS prepares you to be a professional with innovative thinking, capable of creating and maintaining sustainable and profitable industrial processes. During the course, you will develop the skills needed to identify practical problems in multiple areas of knowledge and always find the best way to solve them. Our curriculum prepares you to always consider the economic, financial, and management aspects associated with new projects, in addition to developing your vision for entrepreneurship based on effective and innovative solutions.
In addition to all the technical knowledge, here you develop fundamental skills and competencies for a successful career, such as team spirit, leadership, transparency, respect, autonomy and interpersonal communication.
