The Biomedicine course at PUCRS has a curriculum designed to make you a well-rounded professional. As a biomedical scientist, you can work in laboratories, hospitals, blood banks, diagnostic centers, beauty clinics, research centers, and even work on the development of new biotechnologies, such as vaccines and treatments. Much more than having a degree, you can make a difference in the world.

Biomedicine is multidisciplinary at its core, as it combines knowledge from biology and medicine. In addition to addressing the most contemporary health concepts, our curriculum includes subjects on innovation, entrepreneurship and practical activities in partnership with other areas of health, also adding knowledge from the most diverse professional experiences of our professors.
