Architecture is the abstract art and the precision of science at the same time. It involves transforming pencil lines into buildings that change people's lives. In the Architecture and Urban Planning course at PUCRS, you will learn to create, design and execute projects in the most diverse areas of architecture, urban planning and landscaping. After graduating, you will be able to work in various niches such as building architecture, hospital architecture, commercial architecture, interior architecture, architecture and restoration, urban landscaping, social housing, furniture and object design, signage and visual programming, among others – whether in the public sector (city halls, executive and planning departments), in companies or as an entrepreneur.
In addition to all the technical knowledge that combines theory and practice, you will also develop other skills and competencies that are essential for a professional in the field. Here we train architects who are capable of understanding the needs of their clients, thinking creatively and innovatively, seeing the world with sensitivity and expressing their ideas through their work.
Can you relate to this and are you already imagining your day-to-day life on the course? Find out more details and come study at PUCRS.
