Did you know that accounting is one of the oldest professions in the world and arose from the need to record commercial transactions? Here at PUCRS, the Accounting Science course has existed since 1947 and has already trained thousands of professionals. Accountants are responsible for the organization and longevity of small, medium and large companies, and directly influence financial and organizational processes.
In our course, you will have all the tools you need to develop, grow and acquire knowledge that goes far beyond theory. With professors who are experts in the field and a methodology that provides practical learning about everyday challenges, graduates in Accounting Science are ready to work in the most diverse areas of accounting, such as controlling, internal and independent auditing, consulting, tax planning, expertise, entrepreneurship, academic careers and much more. In addition to the technical part, you will also develop skills and interpersonal abilities that are essential for your career and to make a difference in the socioeconomic environment and in people's lives.
