Internship

To enrich your CV, increase your opportunities for entering the job market and put into practice the knowledge acquired in class, an internship could be the solution.

PET Psychology

The Tutorial Education Program (PET), created by the Federal Government in 1979, has, among its objectives, to guarantee undergraduate students a qualified academic education, aiming at a differentiated professional exercise, with an emphasis on the principles of tutorial education and the inseparability between teaching, research and extension.

PUCRS has five PET groups, linked to the Chemistry, Psychology, Literature, Biological Sciences and Computer Science courses, each consisting of 12 students guided by a professor-tutor.

Undergraduate Research Project

Scientific initiation is an opportunity for undergraduate students to work on research projects developed by professors and researchers at the University. The experience provides direct contact with the scientific community. For those who want to pursue an academic career, it is a differential for entering master's and doctoral courses. It can also contribute to the job market. The workload is 20 hours per week.

The student does not necessarily need to choose a study related to their field, as the work is often interdisciplinary. If the student is interested in being a scholarship holder, they must register in advance at Scientific Initiation Coordination page . The student can also look for postgraduate programs and, later, talk to professors who have research projects.
