PUCRS is part of the project Eduroam as the first private educational institution in Brazil to provide Wi-Fi access to users of several national and foreign universities in a transparent and immediate manner.
The Eduroam network allows professors and students from PUCRS and affiliated universities to integrate into their work routine without having to create new logins and passwords in the local PUCRS environment or in any other participating institution. In other words, visitors can use the local institution's internet access resources by connecting to the Eduroam network using the login and password of their home institution. The Eduroam service is present in approximately 60 countries and has more than 10000 access points, of which 840 are located in Brazil and are located in all regions of the country.
To access the Eduroam network, you must configure your device according to the manuals below. After configuring, enter your PUCRS network username and password, followed by “@pucrs.br” or “@edu.pucrs.br” (exclusively for students).

* No use the ACAD email and the network user login or your email @edu.pucrs.br
When changing your password to access the PUCRS network (in any laboratory or using the application https://trocasenha.pucrs.br), this password must also be updated on your cell phone or tablet, if you have previously registered with Eduroam.
If it is not possible to update the password in the Wi-Fi Access option in your device's settings, you must use the Eduroam “Forget the network” option and register it again, following the instructions below, entering the new network password.
Password updates on the Eduroam network are performed annually and are mandatory to enable access.
To access the PUCRS Visitors network: upon first use, you will be asked to fill out a registration form and the access data will be sent via SMS directly to the registered cell phone number.
