PUCRS students, professors and administrative staff have free access to Office 365. The package includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Onedrive, among others.
For undergraduate, lato sensu and stricto sensu students, access to the Office365 package is done through the academic email: @edu.pucrs.br.

If you are a professor or administrative technician, please provide your username for accessing the University network, remembering that the login is your registration number (without the last digit), plus the suffix “@pucrs.br”. The suffix “@pucrs.br” informs the Office 365 portal which company/institution you are connected to.
Eg:
User: 12345678@pucrs.br
Password: xxxxxxx (enter your network access password)
If you are a student, enter your access credentials, remembering that the login is your email, plus the suffix “@edu.pucrs.br”.
Eg:
User: joao.silva@edu.pucrs.br
Password: xxxxxxx (enter your Office 365 password)
If you don't remember your password, access the portal trocasenha.pucrs.br and follow the directions.
When you access the portal for the first time, the welcome screen will be displayed. Simply proceed through the initial settings and tips presented.
The next screen displays all the applications you have rights to use.
The new academic email (suffix “@edu.pucrs.br”) will be made available to all PUCRS students. It is through this email that the vast majority of academic communications will be sent, such as information and events related to your course. To learn more about your academic email, visit the Sou Aluno portal (pucrs.br/soupucrs-aluno/) and select the entry portal according to your link.
Academic email is accessed via the link office365.pucrs.br.
For administrative technicians and teachers, information can be viewed on the HR portal portalrh.pucrs.br, accessing the “My Data” menu in the upper left corner.
To change your password, follow the instructions sent to your email. If you do not have access to this email, follow the steps below:
Undergraduate student: access the student portal through the link pucrs.br/soupucrs-aluno, selecting the menu option “Personal -> Academic Mail” and follow the instructions.
Master's or PhD students: access the student portal through the link pucrs.br/soupucrs-aluno, selecting the menu option “Personal -> Acad Email” and follow the instructions.

The calendar shortcut is located on the email home page, in the lower left corner.
When you select the “Calendar” option, it will open showing the day’s appointments. You can change the way you view this calendar (weekly, monthly, daily).
When accessing the Office 365 portal at the link office365.pucrs.br, all applications available for use will be displayed. To access them, simply click on the desired application.
Is my email @Acad.pucrs.br still available?
Your ACAD email will remain available indefinitely. PUCRS will continue to maintain the old accounts, but no more accounts will be created on this platform. Likewise, as soon as the new emails are made available, communications will no longer be sent to the previous ACAD emails.
Which operating systems are enabled to use the Office suite?
For Android smartphones, it would be from version 6.0 (Android Marshmallow). For Apple smartphones, IOS operating system from version 8.1, and for PC model computers, with Windows 7 operating system with service pack 1 installed, or Windows 10.
When a student graduates or when a teacher or technician leaves the institution (for whatever reason), do they immediately lose access?
Teacher and technician access is terminated immediately as their network account is terminated. Student access (network account) is still maintained, along with their email access.
When a student graduates or when a teacher or technician leaves the institution, do they lose access to OneDrive and all their files?
For students who graduate, OneDrive is also maintained, as well as the files. In the case of teachers and technicians, since the entire resource provision structure is linked to the Network account, when the account is deleted, all resources are deleted.
Will there be a deadline for students, teachers and administrative staff to migrate their files to other locations?
Migration is not necessary for students, as the files will not be deleted. For teachers and administrative staff, since the resource provided is institutional in nature, it is assumed that whatever is stored on OneDrive is also institutional. There is a 30-day period until the account is actually deleted and its content lost.
Is free access to the Office 365 package available to the entire PUCRS community? Does it also cover Tecnopuc, Gráfica Epecê, Edipucrs, Hospital São Lucas, interns, students and graduates?
Yes, the entire university community, with the exception of interns and graduates.
How will the interaction between the corporate account and the personal Microsoft account work?
There is no such interaction.
For professors and administrative technicians, is it possible to access content from the PUCRS internal network through this package in other locations (e.g. at home) or only content hosted on OneDrive?
Home access only works for OneDrive. Network folders and mappings are not accessible, only upon request and special approval from managers.
Are there privacy guarantees for the use of personal accounts?
Yes, Microsoft follows strict privacy and confidentiality controls for the use of this Office 365 cloud structure.
Older students use Google's email, calendar and apps solution (@acad.pucrs.br). With the creation of @edu.pucrs.br, can the content linked to @acad.pucrs.br (both email and calendar) be migrated to Office365?
This migration must be provided by the students themselves. No automatic migration will be carried out.
Once the PUCRS account is used on a personal device, what kind of influence can the University exert on these devices?
There is no intervention by PUCRS on personal devices. The only action that PUCRS will take will be sending emails, which were previously sent to Google's ACAD, which will now be sent to the new edu.pucrs.br email address.
